The Westwood High School Softball team split a doubleheader with Kingsford High School on Wednesday night.  The Patriots won the first game 5-4, but could not hold a 7-3 lead in the second game losing 8-9 in 6 innings due to darkness.  The Patriots are 1-1 on the early season.  The Patriots next play in the Superior Dome tournament this weekend.
